The Story Map of Grantham is a creative community project shaped by children’s words and images. Through prompts and workshops, young people have shared stories and illustrations rooted in local landmarks, both real and imagined. Artist Yemi Edwards is now bringing these contributions together to create a fictional illustrated map of our town that celebrates creativity and children’s voices. Below, is a selection of children’s postcards. The final map will be distributed in print to local schools, libraries, and community partners, and will also be available online.
